    3. Again! Congrats on being published! I think the first working title of my novel offended many would-be agents It was hither-to entitled The Ju-ish Axekutioner " as 10 year old male urchins might spell it, deals with a gaggle of Southern boys first confronting prejudices: religious/cultural/racial, and especially, when first meeting people of the Hebrew faith. The new title is "Pauly and The Axe Man " . The Axe Man is a Holocaust survivor. It is a story with much pathos and much humor written in the style of Mark Twain; one of my American heroes. I have 'done' his voice in animation shows since 1981. As for your book I ordered my copy yesterday. There is a possibility ( probability?) that involved in this battle was a George Washington Ball, late of the Union Navy. Born in New York City, he 'jumped ship' after disagreement with his officer(s). He married Nancy Jane Scott at the Pensacola Navy Yards in 1863. She was daughter of Jasper Scott, brother to your Mary Scott Cox. IF this is the same G W Ball of Bttle Marianna as I was told. GW and Nancy both buried in Pensacola but in different cemeteries.
