Actually, June, Dale Mabry Highway is in Tampa. There never was a Dale Mabry Field. It was MacDill and Drew Field in Tampa proper. Drew Field turned into the airport and Hillsborough Community College. There was also a base where Busch Gardens (actually Adventure Island) is, but it's name escapes me. Then there was a base in Thonotosassa, and so on. They were scattered all over the area during WWII.
