My gggrandfather Eli L. Morris and his wife Margaret Hardy at one time 18?? until their death in Marianna. They are both buried in the Grant cemetery in Jackson county. Eli was b 9/30/1830 d 10/20/1910. Margaret was b 5/21/1835 d 1/20/1904 or 08 I have found two dates thus far. They had seven children listed on the 1870 Coffee county Ala census. They were: Alexander, Jials, (Peter who I believe is Simon Peter my ggrandfather), Levi, William, Eli, and Henry. Sometime between the 1870 Ala census they moved to Fl. The family eventually moved down to Bay and Franklin county. If anyone knows anything of this family please let me know I will be glad to share any information that I have. Thanks, Billie Jean Morris
