Hello, The town of Parramore was a thriving community at around the time of the turn of the century. At that time there were stores, riverboat landings, schools, churches, sawmills, a post office and naval stores industries. Today very little is left. The cemeteries at Oak Grove and Circle Hill churches date from the era of the town. There are a few buildings left, including a one room school house. There also is a monument at the ruins of Central School. The property of the town is owned by a number of different land owners. Best, Dale Cox
