Dear Members & Friends: It is that time again. There will be a living history encampment and skirmish in the cane field. The Marianna, Florida Caverns State Park will be holding the fall festival on November 2, 3, 2007. Reenactors can arrive on Thursday evening Nov. 1st if you like and stay until Sunday, November 4th. School kids come out on Friday, November 2nd. This is a great event with vendors who have frontier goods, hand made items, blacksmith items, homemade candles, cane syrup, honey, and other displays like a moonshine still (without the shine) and other crafts of interest. Modern facilities available and also there is modern RV camping if you sign up early enough. Who wants to meet me there?
