Recently I heard of St. Andrews Cemetery in West FL, I think maybe between Tallahasse and Grand Ridge. My g-aunt said that only CROOMs are buried there. The first being a school teacher. I suspect that if I find it I will also find many of my CROOM relatives. Thank you in advance. Pamela
There was a Clark family from Graceville which sang gospel music on a Marianna radio station in the 1950s. I'm not sure if it is them, but if it is some of the family had a group called (I think) The Masters Touch. I heard them sing about 3 or 4 years ago. Maybe someone knows more. I am looking for information on a (Venie)? Clark. He was supposed to have been a preacher at a Church in Graceville around the 1950's. We thought it was the Assembly of God but when we contacted them they said they had no record of him. He was well known for his piano playing. If anyone has any info on this fellow please let me know. I am beginning to think my relatives made him up!! Thanks for any help. Cricket

It is (according to my map) at the intersections of: Franklin St, Bertram St, Davey St, and South St. The old Dyke(s) would be wes tof there. I've not found anything much on older newspapers before 1900 from the area. I believe one of the older newspapers was called Times-Courier. Hope that helps. cindy
Sounds more like Riverside Cemetery to me.
I have some old notes referring to an old cem in west part of Marianna. Go south to courthouse, turn right and it is back in that area off road. Could this be the old Dykes cem or Riverside cem?I have had these notes so long that I have forgotten who gave them to me. Does anyone know how to access the older Marianna/Jackson Co Newsapers from 1800's?
