    2. Greg And Winnette
    3. Julia Armenda Nesbitt Parker the widow of Salathiel F. Parker died after 1910 when she received an increase in her pension. Will someone look to see if she is on the 1920 and 1930 census for Jackson County? Or does someone have access to the death index? The picture we have of her said she lived to be 95 years old, that would place her death about 1933. We are having a headstone made for her and have no date of death.. We know she was born in May 1838 according to the 1900 Census of Jackson Co. We need to know a date of death to order her death certificate. Thanks for any help. Betty, I tried to send an e-mail to Allen O'Shields who submitted the Reunion picture for the Womble family in Florida on the Jackson Co. Fl USGenweb and the e-mail sent to the address shown [email protected] bounced back. I wanted to ask him if he knew of a North Carolina connection with these Wombles as I am seeking more info on the family of William T. Womble b. abt 1829 in Wake Co., NC. Do you have an alternate way to contact Allen? Thanks Carole

    1. [FLJACKSO] Re: [FLWASHIN] Lottie Parker
    2. Greater Jackson County friends/family: It is with great sadness we learn of the loss of one of our own. Lottie was a wonderful volunteer, genealogist, person, and distant cousin. Her research and contributions are her legacy that shall live on. My sympathies to all those who knew her and to her family who will miss her tremendously, especially at this time of holiday and family time. Having lost a close loved one at Christmas my heart understands the void we all share in Lottie's passing. My thoughts and prayers to Lottie's friends and family as well as the greater Jackson County family we have found here on our discussion list. May God bless you all during this season. Cindy Gay Sloan [email protected] Calhoun - Jackson - Washington Counties discussion list/GenWeb administrator. ========Original Message======== Subj: [FLWASHIN] Lottie Parker Date: 12/08/2001 9:35:33 PM Eastern Standard Time From:    [email protected] (Whit Gainey) To:    [email protected] Friends, Some of you may know and others not, that Lottie Gay Parker has been sick for several weeks. I am sorry to have to report that she passed from this life Friday. I understand that she had a viral type disease which destroyed the white blood cells. There will be a service at or near her home which is in the Atlanta area. Then her body will be shipped and a graveside service will be at 11:00 AM (CST), Wednesday at Rock Hill Cemetery, Washington County, FL. If anyone desires to come, I can provide directions. Lottie was a volunteer who spent countless hours typing cemetery surveys, marriage records, etc. for the Jackson and Washington pages. She also was a frequent contributor to these lists. I didn't have a problem pulling them as .jpg files directly... so I guess it depends upon the browser... Thanks!!!
