One place we lived had a spring where the water stayed as cold as ice and mom kept the milk there when she had more than us kids could drink in a day. We even had ice delivered here after we moved to Fl. But i was lucky , My bro Richard was the ice man. That was after WW2. I still didn't have a Frig. At that time i still used an old black wash pot to do my laundry. My bro Lee lives in Long Bch Ca. Is Selma Ca near there.
