Yes the early Whitaker settlement was around the Bethlehem Campground on 10 mile creek. I think you are looking for New Smyrna Cemetery. My directions from Bethlehem Campground on highway 160 go east on highway160 cross tenmile creek turn right on Malcolm Taylor Road (dirt road) stay on that road till it dead ends turn right cross small bridge church & cemetery on your right. I haven't been to that church & cemetery in several years. However I gew up in that area on Malcolm Taylor Road. Yet another way from highway 160 & highway 177 go south on 177 I think there is a sign for New Smyrna Church on highway 177. This information is from Holmes Co Cemetery Census by Lon Everett. New Smyrna Cemetery - from highway 79 & 177 take 177 about 4 miles turn right on dirt road & go .1 mile. Cemetery will on the left behind New Smyrna Assembly of God Chruch.
