Jerry, I have two Elizabeth Pates b. 1843. One, you mentioned earlier, is the d/o Alexander Lloyd Pate which was in Geneva Co., AL. in 1870-80, the other is d/o Joel Pate, and she was in Washington Co., FL. in 1870-80. Joel Pate had four children to marry the children of James A. Yates. So James A.
