    3. Hon, I don't agree that it will do no good for you to write and call because you live in Alabama. I live in Texas, but all my family lives in Florida and have for 185 years and I plan to again someday soon. You can still make a point with them. This is a mistake and we all need to make that clear with whatever passion we feel. They may not be honest most of the time, but they do respond to negative press. They all do, thank goodness. Reading all of the emails I've received on this the last few days and the reactions of genealogists around the country I'm reminded of that commercial a while back about messing with Mother Nature. Just change the wrath-bringer to Genealogists and it appears to be true. A history reminder. Things were real tough during the depression, but we were still spending government funds to document memories of everything from the Civil War and being a slave to growing up in the South. We can not loose our sense of history, or place in the rush ! to meet the current economic challenges.
