    2. I agree that the library is of utmost importance for my genealogy research for my Florida ancestors. It is imperitive that the Libary/Archives be preserved for us researchers with Florida ancestors. Mine go all the way back to the first 50 English Speaking families that moved into the area of present day Jackson/Holmes Counties; when Florida was owned by Spain. Their descendents are still there. I live 350 miles away. The Archives has been a goldmine of Genealogy information on my ancestors. My Father was born in Graceville in 1909. His Mother was born in Holmes County in 1887. I have many ancestors still residing in Jackson County. They have many family legends of our long ago explorers and settlers. But the Archives has furnished records of information about our ancestors that my cousins have never heard. Proof. Lets talk and contact politicians and what else is necessary to save our Resource Center.
