    3. Mt. Ida is the church at New Hope on Highway 2 in Holmes County. Your ancestor could have lived in Holmes County and was listed Alabama because when I was growing up the address where I lived at New Hope, 4 miles from the state line, was Rt. 2, Geneva, AL. There has always been confusion about that.
