Yes, Sarah Faircloth was a daughter of Elbert Faircloth. Elbert Faircloth was a nephew of Isaac Faircloth (I think...can anyone confirm this???). > -----Original Message----- > From: Kay1912@aol.com [SMTP:Kay1912@aol.com] > Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2003 8:11 PM > To: FLHOLMES-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [FLHOLMES] Miller, Leavins > > Question of Sarah Faircloth?? Yes, you're correct. Sarah Faircloth was the oldest child of Elbert Faircloth and Rhoda Missouri Woodall/Woodell Faircloth. She was born about 1878. She must have died young. Sallie Faircloth was named after her because she also had the name of Sarah. It was a custom of that day and time to name other children after the ones who had died. Yes, is the correct answer to Isaac Faircloth being the Uncle of Elbert Faircloth. Isaac was the brother to Elbert's father Abraham Faircloth. Their father was Richard Faircloth. I don't know their mother's name. Does anybody else out there know the wife of Richard or the mother of Abraham or Isaac? --- Angela Williams <williamsa@nsu.law.nova.edu> wrote: > Yes, Sarah Faircloth was a daughter of Elbert > Faircloth.
