    3. I've finally located more info on the BRAZELs originally of Georgia: I'm looking for anyone with knowledge of a death or burial record for Allen BRAZELL, died between 1920-1930, and his mother Ida BRAZELL, died after 1930, and my have a death or burial record in Holmes County also. There was a Mack R. BRAZELL, who died around 1995 that may be the Mack listed below as a child of Allen and Pearlie (LNU) BRAZELL. The spelling of BRAZELL is alternately BRAZEL, BRAZZIL, BRASWELL, BRAZIL etc. The branch of the family that stayed in GA spelled their name BRAZEL. 1920, Coffee Co., Alabama Census: Brazel (or Brazil), Ben B. age 25 Lizzie, age 30 Kenneth, age 4 Benjamin, age 2 Ida, age 50 (mother) 1920, Holmes Co., Florida Census: Brazell, Allen, age 24 Pearlie, age 21 1930, Holmes Co., Florida Brazell, Pearlie, age 28 Della, age 8 Thelma, age 8 Glenis, age 6 Mack, age 4 Ida, age 62 (mother-in-law) Based upon this new information, there was a period of time that William B. Brazel and Ida (Jones?) Brazel did not live together, at least from before the 1920 census, and after the 1930 census. It is not known if they were divorced. It appears that William B. was considered a widower in the 1930 Randolph Co., GA census.
