Hello, Can you help me with my Pitts. My husband Great Grandmother was Catherine Elizabeth Vann Adkins. Her parents were Stephen Vann and Cathrine Pitts. She was born about 1849 in Alabama. You might want to contact Ann Glass who works in the Gen. library in Moultrie Ga. She is searching this branch of Glass. I obtained a copy of James Glass & Jane Sapp's marriage license for her and I believe she said it was her Gr. Grandmother. I have a Jane Sapp, the daughter of Jason Sapp. I have her as the sister of Levi and Henry. Charity was a first cousin. All of this is undocumented. I do not have a marriage record for Jane. Based on the birth dates of her brothers and your wedding date I would guess she was born abt 1830.
