    3. Yes, you're correct. Sarah Faircloth was the oldest child of Elbert Faircloth and Rhoda Missouri Woodall/Woodell Faircloth. She was born about 1878. She must have died young. Sallie Faircloth was named after her because she also had the name of Sarah. It was a custom of that day and time to name other children after the ones who had died. Yes, is the correct answer to Isaac Faircloth being the Uncle of Elbert Faircloth. Isaac was the brother to Elbert's father Abraham Faircloth. Their father was Richard Faircloth. I don't know their mother's name. Does anybody else out there know the wife of Richard or the mother of Abraham or Isaac? --- Angela Williams <williamsa@nsu.law.nova.edu> wrote: > Yes, Sarah Faircloth was a daughter of Elbert > Faircloth. Parking is NOT free at Nova. (It is in Tallahassee) Outside residents are not treated the same as students, which I find is normal in many academic school libraries that I have researched in throughout the U.S. Consider using these points when you contact your legislators. 1. Nova can throw out any books they don't want upon receipt and will continue to get paid $5 million until 2007. (In the contract.) 2. Academic libraries do not want (older) fiction books either. Only 8% fiction are in the State library and they are located in one small area of the R.A. Gray building. This collection includes Florida fiction authors. There are THREE floors of non-fiction. 3. Many (3-4000?) of the books located in the 900 area (history) belong to the Genealogy collection and should be given to the Archives. 4. The books will deteriorate rapidly due to acidic black markers will be used to cover the “State Library” stamp on the top, bottom and inside of each book. 5. The books will continue to deteriorate even further from extensive physical abuse from pulling old tape and checkout slips off of the books. As a result, the life span of these books will be far less than their present environment. 6. The books cannot be available at least for another two years because it is physically impossible to process them so quickly, therefore InterLibrary Loan will not exist at least for two years or more. 7. All the books will be reclassified from Dewey to LC, which could also involve years of staff time. 8. Many of the books have been donated by citizens from all over the U S., and they will become extremely upset if they find out their donation was sent to a private library. 9. We can check out books in Tallahassee, but will NOT be able to do so in Broward. We will be limited to Inter-Library Loan, which could be another two years. 10. Many of the older books are used by graduate students or specialized researchers, even if they are NOT checked out. They use them on site. The older books are still valuable because their content is used for research and opinions from another time period. If any of you can add to this list, or disagree with me, please let me know. Please feel free to pass this on to other lists. In order to get the "5-day free trial" you have to surrender a credit card or bank account number. You have to cancel within 5 days or you get dinged. Guess what? The cancellation e-mail bounces. Does this surprise you? One person who recently fell for the come-on had his/her account dinged not once, but twice.
