    3. Well, thanks to my friends on this list, I have received the wills of Harriet and Stanley Weisshaus from the Clerk of Circuit Court, Hillsborough County. I sent them a check for $10 and in spite of the fact that the charge was $11, they sent them and asked for $1 to be sent now. I want to tell you what this revealed because I find it very interesting. The wills were made out on 12 September 1977, just 9 days before Stanley's death and and 29 days before Harriet's death. Both wills left to the other and then into a trust held by the Exchangw National Book. But here's the interesting kicker: BOTH wills: "I have intentionally refrained from making any provision in this will for my daughter, SUSAN W. Tempkin, for reasons I consider good and sufficient, and I specifically direct that she shall receive nothing from my estate." The answers I have to try and find now is "WHY?" and what caused these two people to die within a few days of each other? Accident? suicide? Interesting, huh? I ask one more favor. Could someone please look in the Tampa telephone directory and see if there are any Tempkins listed. A very deep thanks to all who assisted me in this case. Pat

    3. You can go to WhitePages.com or several other sites, for current Tempkins. The library has a collection of old telephone books we use in our research as well, if you are looking for earlier listings. 3. Pat, Looking in the Tampa White pages, I find two Steve Tempkin listed First listing Steve Tempkin 813-932-1464 Second Listing Steve Tempkin 11003 Forest Hills Dr. 813-932-5984 These are both in the same area, so I don't know if they are father and son, or its just a additional line. Anyway, this is the only Tempkin listed in the Tampa Bay area. 3. Thanks, Sheila. \ In rereading the will, I find that the name should be Susan TEMKIN, without the "P". Could you please look up that surname? 3. Pat, Unfortunately, there is no Temkin at all in the Tampa directory. I checked the Hills. Co. Clerk of Court site and found a couple of Temkins but no reference to a Susan. I tried to check the Property Appraiser site, thinking there might be something there but their site is down. Sorry, if I think of anything else to help you out, I'll let you know Sheila -------Original Message------- From: FLHILLSB-L@rootsweb.com Date: Friday, January 17, 2003 1:31:29 PM To: FLHILLSB-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [FLHILLSB] Re: Stanley Weisshaus Thanks, Sheila. \ In rereading the will, I find that the name should be Susan TEMKIN, without the "P".
