    3. The Tampa newspapers for the 1940s and 1950s are available on microfilm at the John F. Germany library (the public library in downtown Tampa) and at the University of South Florida Tampa campus library. Copies can be made at both locations. The sites given for pictures are good ones . Janice, Thanks for that reply to my inquiry re the old Wagon Wheel. I appreciate the help/information. I have begun to look at some of the old photos and they are gems. I have another question: never having done any FL research in the past, I wonder if newspapers from the mid 1940's to the early 1950's time frame are available for copies? Where? Again, I am most appreciative of all help. ----------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > -- > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG Free Edition. > Version: 7.1.409 / Virus Database: 268.14.19/556 - Release Date: > 11/28/2006 > > Descended from Samuel WEST born NC before 1755. --------------------------------- Access over 1 million songs - Yahoo!
