I am descended from 2 of his brothers; the oldest, James and the youngest, Peter Patrick. James's son Luther and Peter Patrick's daughter Julia Clark are my great grand parents. My grand father Angus(1874-1934) was the youngest son of Luther and Julia. Amanda is a descendant of Julia's sister Ester who married Lewis Cogdell Oates. Ester died in NC before LCO moved to Texas. Every year since the 1930s there has been a Cromartie Reunion in Bladen County. For the last 20 years the Reunions have been held at South River Presbyterian Church which is within walking distance of the Ham House, the home of Alexander.
