M - Maria Militello b - 1901 the oldest child of Giuseppe & Rosina Maria was the oldest child who raised all her siblings when they were orphaned in 1918. My mother was only seven at the time. She and Merita (nickname for Mary) were raised as sisters. Merita's son, Roland and I were close enough in age that we were also as close as siblings.
