    3. I checked volumes 1 through 8 for Hillsborough County Cemeteries (1840-1985) and did not find Julie Vandercook. In fact, I found only two Vandercook names in all the volumes, and those two died in 1960's and 1970's. -----Original Message----- From: flhillsb-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:flhillsb-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, November 17, 2009 12:52 PM To: FLHILLSB-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [FLHILLSB] Julia Emily "Julie" Burdick VANDERCOOK, MD (1836-1920) This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: clownperson Surnames: Burdick, Vandercook Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.florida.counties.hi llsborough/3296/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I've found an online Florida death record transcription for Julie that states she died in Lutz, Hillsborough Co., FL on 16 February, 1920. She also appears in the 1920 USC for Lutz, Hillsborough Co., FL. Her death record states that she was buried in Lutz. Her husband, James Forsyth Vandercook, predeceased her in 1904 and lies buried in Omaha, NE. I've checked through the cemetery records posted on the Hillsborough Co. USGenWeb site but have not been able to find her. Julie was one of the pioneer women doctors practicing in Nebraska. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
