It's odd to me that Fred left a family business in Jacksonville to move and start over in Tampa. He moved to Tampa in 1947. I did find an Ellen Fouts divorcing from a John Wiley Wright, Jr. in Duval County but can't access the file since I don't have an ancestry.com subscription - and apparently, this John Wiley Wright,, Jr had divorces a couple of other women in Duval Co. as well. I was wondering if maybe Ellen could have had children with him, that she may have adopted out if he left?? But who knows, I don't even have a divorce date. The only 'Ellen' I found in the SSDI with the same dob as my Ellen and SS issued in FL was an Ellen Brown, so I have been trying to dig that up as well. Interestingly, as I have been trying to research Louis Denham Fouts I keep coming up with what *possibly* looks like a VERY interesting character (ummm.....just type "denham fouts" into Yahoo, there's a wikipedia article). IF it is the same Louis Denham, he would have died in 1948. But, he may not have had any children due to his lifestyle - and if he did, I'm not sure they would have been located in FL in order to be adopted by family members. Ken had a brother (still living) that was born around 1946 so he would not be in the 1945 census with Ken and both boys were adopted prob bef 1950 from the Tampa Children's Home.
