My husband's deceased father and Fred Fouts knew each other very well. I knew that my father-in-law's boss was a Fred, but it wasn't until I located his obit today that I realized that Fred Fout was president of Nu-Air Windows. My father-in-law worked for Fred and Jack Horner for many many years before my father-in-law's death in the early 1990's. FOUTS, FREDERIC, 76, of Tampa, died Thursday (Oct. 20, 1994) at home. He was born in Jacksonville and came here in 1947. He was president of Nu-Air Window Manufacturing for 40 years. He was past deputy district governor of the Lions Club and was instrumental in founding the Palma Ceia and Ybor City Lions Clubs. He was a World War II veteran and a commercial pilot. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Carswell Fouts; three sons, Kenneth and Raymond, both of Bradenton, and Louis, Atlanta; a daughter, Kay Preston, Redlands, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
