Kitchen (born in England with both parents born in England), his 30-year-old wife Beryl (born in Kansas of Missouri parents), and their daughter Olive B. (4 years and 6 months old, born in Florida) were living at 3108 Palmira Street (this may be 3108 West Palmira Avenue on a modern map). According to the Florida Death Index, Thomas Chadwick Kitchen was born 11 Jul 1903 and died 12 Apr 1971 in Hillsborough County; Beryl Fouts Kitchen was born 15 Jan 1895 and died 20 Sep 1984 in Hillsborough County. According to Find A Grave, Thomas C. Kitchen and Beryl F. Kitchen are buried together in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa. In the 1945 Florida state census, Thomas, Beryl, and Olive were living at 2636 Prospect Road. Gonzalez Funeral Home, Tampa. Additional information is in the Tampa Tribune obit for her: "CARLSON, Olive Beryl Kitchen "O.B.," age 76, of Tampa, passed away August 27, 2002. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Mrs. Carlson was born to Thomas C. and Beryl F. Kitchen on October 17, 1925. She was a graduate of Plant High School and received a degree in Journalism from Florida State College for Women, now Florida State University. She is survived by her loving son, A. David Carlson. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Sunset Memory Gardens.
