Johnson born abt. 1918 in Maryland to Merle Alvin Johnson,who is the son of Clifort R. Johnson and Mary Elizabeth McIntosh. Merle Alvin Johnson died 13 July 1972 in Tampa, Florida. His wife Della Goodwin survived him and his son William R. of Fisher, Illinois. Della died 7 Dec 1975 in Tampa as well. Because of Mary Elizabeth's obituary I know that William had a daughter. I have found a 1945 Florida census in Orange Co. showing a William R. Johnson born in Maryland married to an Elizabeth with a daughter born about 1944 named Caroline. I'm not sure if they remained in Florida or Illinois or elsewhere. Need help locating this family. My great grandfather is Mary Elizabeth's brother.
