The Hillsborough county library in downtown Tampa has a file section for family histories and historical news clippings. You can also scan the items and post them right here on the message board itself. The items you attach to a message posted on rootsweb can be seen by person viewing the message online but the attachments do not go through on the mailing list for this message board. The people who get the message in a mailing list will need to come to the Rootsweb site to see the document. If you need help/instructions scanning the documents and placing on the message board let me know and I will be glad to help. The more places you share the documents the more people will benefit. When I have documents that might help someone else I make copies of the items and scan the information/documents and place them on CD's and send both the hard copy and the CD to the various historical societies and libraries.
