    2. Hi Sharon, Q #1: Yes the courthouse is where the deeds are kept. First floor; I think it's room 195. The greeter can point you to them. He's my cousin Ralph... say hi for me! I'm not sure about searching by street address. I know you can search by name. Q #2: Not sure about this one; I'm sure someone else on the list will know more than I, but the Tampa library has an entire floor dedicated to genealogy. I'd try there. Q #3: The health dept. has the death certificates and birth certificates. I'm not sure how far back they have them... I wasn't able to get a birth certificate from 1892... they gave me a form with directions for sending to Jacksonville for it. I hope I've been of some help. I just returned from Tampa doing family research. Good luck, ~Amber Parker Raleigh, NC < I want to research old deeds, Do I go to the courthouse in Tampa? Can I search by street address? Also -want to research St. Pete when it was part of Hillsboro, Do I go to St. Pete? Tampa or Clearwater? Also - will the Tampa courthouse have recorded death certificates for deaths in their county? I know about Jacksonville. But I am not going to Jax, going to Tampa.
