Suzanne, A couple thoughts. Keep in mind the holdings at the USF Library, if you have time. Tampa Library-Park on the second floor of the parking garage next to the library and take the walkway over to the library. Cheapest and safest parking. Microfilm readers take quarters/Photocopier will take any change. Change for copies is sometimes unavailable at the desk or change machine. Resources are on the second floor, the librarians and volunteer are VERY helpful. Complete census records, extensive local and state histories, genealogies, etc. Courthouse-Pay the parking meter quarters!!! Its about 5-6 blocks from the library parking if your into walking. Again, the employees are extremely helpful in all the records departments. If you need copies of wills, MANY are not on microfilm and the original files are stored off site. You need to request these and it takes 24 hours for them to be retrieved from offsite storage.
