Hi Listers... I need help in locating a Funeral Home if any one is familiar with Tampa. According to my g.aunt's obit (01/14/1964)----- "The Northside Chapel, Duval Funeral Home, 103(5)20 [3 or 5] Florida Ave. is in charge of local arrangements". I tried every search engine to try to locate this place but can't seem to get anywhere. I thought that maybe it changed owners, but couldn't even locate the address or street name. Deb, I drove by the location and Duval is definitely gone. I made a few phone calls and found that they were purchased by SCI, a large corporation. Hillsboro Memorial Gardens is owned by SCI and may have the records there. If not, they may be able to refer you the corporate office. H. M. G phone number is 813-689-8151.
