I'm hoping someone can help me fill in some blanks on info regarding my husband's greatgrandfather. His name was Andre Corinth Vasquez from Spain. I have found an obit for an Andrew Vasquez with info that seems to match that received from limited family sources. He was about 28 when he died in 1916. He was married to an Ellen Ward and had at least 2 daughters, Arlina and Manuela. The Andrew Vasquez I found died about the right time frame and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetary. His marker says Recuerdos Su Hermano Jose. I found a Jose Vasquez that died in 1941. An article in the Tribune says he also was from Spain and was well known in "latin circles." It states he was survived by a wife and 2 daughters also. The story goes that Ellen left Tampa with her daughters right after Andre died and that she moved to north Florida around Jacksonville. If someone can help with with census lookup or point in a direction for more info or knows something of this family, PULEEZE get in contact with me. I seem to have hit a brick wall.
