I just received my ancestors death certificate. His name was Juan FERNANDEZ b. June 1872 Cuba; d. 26 Aug 1949 Tampa. The certificate states he is retired grocery store owner. Would there be anyone who recalls a grocery store owned by him? He lived on 13th Avenue. I don't know if they did like in other states and lived above their stores. His wife's name was Mercedes DIAZ. Juan came to America in 1885. He married here and later his three brothers came and lived with him and his family. Brothers: Julian FERNANDEZ, b.
