Hello all, I am looking for several lines in Hillsborough. Here are the two most important ones for now. I am looking for info about Edgar Judson BAILEY born in Ga in 1905 and died in Tampa 1978(?). His father was Robert BAILEY, I think he had a brother Henry BAILEY. They had their own business in Tampa...or Robert BAILEY did. It was a construction and house painting operation. I don't know when it started or ended, I just know that Edgar Judson (Juddy) BAILEY worked for his father in the 1930's till 1950's + painting houses. If anyone is familiar with these names or that business I would love to hear from you!! I am also working on STOKES. Edward Agustus (Born 1894-died 1971) and Hattie Barbara Albritton STOKES (born 1 April 1899- died December 1982). They moved to Hillsborough county from either Clay or Bradford counties around 1916. They had a daughter Mary Irma Stokes born December of 1916. Edward had a brother William Marion STOKES that also moved to Hillsborough about the same time. He was married to a Lillie ? and they had at least one son named Merle STOKES. There was also a Debbie STOKES that married a George WILLIAMS I'm not sure if she was in Hillsborough or Clay counties.
