As list Mom, I just wanted to pay ya'll on the back for being so well mannered. It seems that there has been an outbreak of rudeness and intolerance on a couple of the lists that belong to and those list Mom's & Dad's are having a time of it. Three things to pass on one personal, the others general. Mom and Dad are now in a full care nursing home from the assisted living place fast fall from March till now.. Dad's memories have not really moved forward from 1970's, but his past memories are really getting sharper. Sister and I were there in June and showed him and old picture, He remembered when and where it was taken and who everyone was. You might try that with your folks that are getting short term memory loss, they may now be able to remember better the old one than the new.. The others, if you have been out on vacation this summer and gathered some family history information related to the county, would you please share and donate the information to the Gen Web archives for your counties or surnames. We really don't have much documented information on the web and every little bit helps. Also a few of us have batted the idea around for a photo archive and Vetrans page. I have some in Screven who's working a format for a photo archive, but if there is anyone in Hills that might like to help with that, I'd be delighted. Also for setting up and creating a vetrans page, for those who served from the county. I seem to be running out of time for so many things if anyone would like to help design or coordinate that page please let me know.
