    1. [FLHILLSB] Fort Brooke in 1900
    2. David V. Clinard
    3. In the 1900 census, it lists J.S. Clinard at Fort Brooke, at 802 Jackson Street. He is listed as an inmate. The census area is identified as 6th precinct, emergency hospital, Supervisor's district 2, Enumeration district 64, sheet number 19. It was taken on July 3, 1900. Does anybody know about this place at that time? I know nothing about this person but think he may have been an ancestor. Would this have been a prison? Was it a military institution emergency hospital? Any help with my understanding the history of this place at the time of the 1900 census is appreciated. Any help with learning about this person is appreciated as well.
