Dear Listers, I would like to know if it is possible to write for a death record, circa 1930's, from Tampa. I went to the website for obtaining vital records from Hillsborough Co. and it states that you need to order by fax and include a copy of a state issued ID with signature. Do they mean the state of Florida, or the state that you live in? I live in Michigan. Can't I write a letter stating my request? Could someone clarify this for me? Thank you.
