Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to get a death notice for a Clifford RAMSEY who died in Aug of 1977. He was a resident of Brandon. I am trying to determine if he was a descendant of Jesse RAMSEY of Michigan. He would have had a brother named roy, who may have died a year before him. would be more than willing to order microfilm of the local Brandon paper for the month of August via interlibrary loan, if I knew the name of it. Of course, a large dose of Bonine would be in order before I can actually look at it! Sally in Michigan

Sally, The Tampa Tribune is the major newpaper for Hillsborough County. All death notices and most obits appear in the Tribune. The Tampa Public Library has all issues of the Trib on microfilm, which is how I've always retrieved copies. However, someone recently posted that these obits can be obtained online through the Tribune archives or the Tampa Library website. It would be great if that person would repost that info.
