    3. Kathy, I feel your frustration. Everywhere I turn there are Martinezes, Garcias, Perezes, and Dominguezes. Its worse than Smith! Then there is the two name problem--sometimes my relatives listed themselves with their father's name and sometimes with their mother's. I get so confused that I don't know if I'm coming or going--looking for a father's name or a mother's name. And not being able to get information from Cuba is simply torture! I am hoping to find a few new leads with the Martinez y Ybor Factory--but I have a feeling that early employment records are scarce. I actually have two Martinez lines--one is my paternal great great grandmother and the other is my aunt by marriage--I haven't really pursued her line, but it is an old Tampa family actively involved in politics and Spanish culture in this area. Good luck in your hunt -- have you been to the Family History Center on Fletcher? Loretta
