I am researching: SCOTT,James C. - {Appears on Polk Co-Fl Census 1900 in Mulberry, FL. & his middle initial appears to be "C." } b. March 1869 in GA - -------------------------------------------- Had been married before & appears on Census with 2 children: (Have No name for Mother of children- his 1st wife. Seems she was from GA, since 1st Son was born in GA.) - -----------------------------..------------- SCOTT, John W. (Son) b. May 1884 in GA - -------------------------------------------- SCOTT, Ira C. b. July 1892 in FL (Son) - -------------------------------------------- Can not find where James C. SCOTT died and is buried, but had 2 children who died at young age by 2nd wife (Had only been married 2 years on 1900 Census.) ............................................................ He would have died after 1903. Had a daughter born March 1903 . His death appears to have been between 1903 and 1911/1912, but not immediately after 1903, as daughter remembered seeing him. ............................................... His 2nd wife was my Grandmother. On the 1900 Census in Mulberry, she appears as LIZZIE L. (Her name was Elizabeth Lee Sanders before marriage) She was 17 or 18 when he married her with his 2 Sons. Can not find marriage license. Still searching. This census is the closest I've come to finding any information................................. If anyone can PLEASE help me with information to continue my search I will be deeply grateful. ............ The West Coast of FLORIDA was the area where IRA (youngest Son) lived with his family in the 1940's as I remember........................................ .
