List and Cousin Grace, Thank you Grace! As usual your expertise and hard work has saved us much of the same. I try to keep things straight but sometimes its overwhelming as I'm sure you know. We will correct the info (and add) on John Stone. Thank you again! Perkins was JOHN not James STONE. Reference records found at the Historical Commission room in the Courthouse in Tampa about 1981. You can also find John STONE and family listed in the 1860 Hillsborough County, Florida census. The census lists him as born about 1830 in Tennesseee. John's initial was either P or B and he died in Georgia about 1862. The daughter Laura Stone was born 8 April 1860 in Florida and died about 1872 in Hillsborough County, Florida. The widow, Catherine E. Perkins Stone married 2nd to Martin D. Patterson in 1866. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Grace _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
