I am not sure of the date but I don't think Jefferson was around until the 40's or maybe even the 50's. During the 20-30 there were only two high schools in Tampa, Hillsborough and Plant...a tremendous rivalry. They had a reunion not long ago at the old gym which is now owned by the Salesian Sisters and operates as the Salesian Youth Center Boys/Girls Club.

I have the year book for Jefferson 1944. Also Hillsborough 1947. Will be happy to look anyone up.
