I am researching a family that is reported to have moved to "Tampa Shores" Florida. Can anyone tell me if this is Tampa or not? I can find no reference anywhere to a Tampa Shores. Thanks in advance for you help. Beth Meriwether Texas
This may have referred to an old "subdivision" like area .... or a little an unofficial city within a city that never was used as official postal address. There are lots of little areas like that in Tampa ... Sulphur Springs, Grant Park, Seminole Heights, etc. Tampa Shores does ring a distant bell ... but I can't say for proof positive.
