My grandfather has become a brickwall for me- I would like to list th names of the women he married - ALL in the state of Florida- 5 of them in hopes that someone will know one of these ladies and maybe have further info on both the wife and the man they married - # 1 - EDMONIA HOGARTH - married in Clay Co. ,Fl in 1897 - they lived in this area for awhile - owned land in the Gainsville area in early 1900's had 3 living sons- Harvey-Merrill and Melvin HEATHCOE - Edmonia died as last name BOULDIN # 2 -SARAH MELENDA HAYMAN / ALLEN / HEATHCOE they had one child together name ANNA MAY HEATHCOE -born in Pasco Co. 1916 - married a William Bass - Sarah's parents listed as Jerry B.Hayman & Julia V.Pritchard - married in 1914 -lived in Hillsborough Co. during which time William Heathcoe operated a streetcar for the county -or city of - Hillsborough- she had 2 children Theodore Allen and Callie Allen- # 3 MARY ELIZABETH WILLIAMS /LEE / HEATHCOE - married Highlands Co.,Fl. 1926 - ( my grandmother ) she is from the line of William A.Williams and Isaac T.Williams - she had 2 children by him- William Lodwick Heathcoe and Irene age 73 living- short term memory loss and remembers some of her father - raised mostly by older half brother Harvey Lee Heathcoe of Plant City,Fl. 1930's era- # 4 -DOLLIE EVANS - married this lady for the need of a mother for his 2 young children when wife Mary Elizabeth died in 1936 leaving the already grandfather to raise 2 young children- Dollie divorced him and remarried in 1938 to a Mr. Hill in Hardee Co. # 5 RHODIE E. HEATHCOE -married in I think Hillsborough Co. 1946 - maybe her name was (last name ) ESSAY before her marriage to William no children by this marriage THANK YOU for any help on these people I can get- Peggy
