I could use some help please. I am trying to find an article ( was told it may have been front page news with a photo around 1944-1945) about two or three children with rickets and malnutrition taken to the Hospital. This would have been my mother and at least one of her brothers, who where given away early 1945 (Jan, Aug respectfully) and since my Uncle was born 1943 that's why I now think late 1944 would be a good time frame to look at. This event would have occurred at some time between 1944(Oct, Nov, Dec) and 1945(Jan no later than the 12th).The children's names where Betty and Henry Johnson, mother Lena. Not sure if names where released in article. Can someone help me with this or suggest someone who can? I have tried Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness and the state library with no results.
