Violet is my aunt. And I don't know why she didn't contact you again. Maybe something came up. Unfortunately I haven't been in contact with that side of my family since I was a teenager, so I couldn't tell you why she didn't get back to you. I am Troy Pearl Sr's great granddaughter, and Troy Pearl Jr's granddaughter. His son Troy William (He didn't care for his own middle name at all, therefore didn't pass it on to his son), is my father. I hadn't known that Troy Sr had been in the Army and a few other facts I learned here. Do you know how many siblings Troy Pearl Sr. had? Obviously he had one. heh. I would be happy to help out if I can, with any information. Feel free to reply to me here, and/or you can email me directly if you like at JaynasRealm@gmail.com Jayna Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I kept hoping I could make contact again with someone in Troy's family. I had contacted Violet a few years back and sent her some information and photos. She told me in our telephone conversation she would reply in kind, but never heard from her again. How are you related? I would very much like to share/exchange Harman family information. I see its been a while since anyone replied here so not sure if anyone will still be keeping up with this board. I'm a granddaughter of Troy Pearl Jr. I don't have all the dates and years, as I haven't researched it at all, I'm only going off of memory and what I've been told. He and Bertha Mae Gordon married and ended up having six children as follows. Violet Lurlene (DOB - Circa 1947) - obviously named after the original Violet Lurlene - was born circa 1947, married Jerry Edmund Spencer in Florida and they had four children, Jerry Edmund Jr, Cindy Kay, Jennifer, and Thomas James. Violet and Jerry divorced, not sure when. I believe the divorce happened in South Carolina and he was in the Air Force at the time. Dorothy Janette (DOB - Circa 1950) - Not sure of marriage, but she had two children. Cheryl (Born some time in the 1960s), and David Robert born in March 1972 in Stuart, Florida. Troy William (DOB January 9, 1953 - Key West, Florida) - Married Jeanne Kay Miller (DOB - January 17, 1955 in Beech Grove, Indiana). They were married on September 10, 1971 in Jenson Beach, Florida. He was in the Air Force for 7 years and had two daughters with Jeanne Kay Miller. Tonia Michelle Harman (DOB - February 25, 1972 in Stuart, Florida - Death - January 2, 2007 in Colorado - She was married and divorced and also had one son, Michael Wayne Jacob Wright, on June 15, 1991), Jayna Rachelle Harman (DOB - March 30, 1976 in Biloxi, Mississippi). Troy and Jeanne divorced in 1981 or 1982 and he married Barbara Ann Morrison (DOB - April 23 circa 1961). They went on to have two children. Scott William (DOB - November 19, 1984 in Lawrenceville, Ga) and Laura Ann (DOB - March 10, 1987 in Lawrenceville, Ga). Frances Jane (DOB - Circa 1954) - Married John Leith Graham in Jenson Beach, Florida in 1971. They had one child, John William Graham (DOB - August 1971 - Death - 1982 - He died at age 12 from complications of Spina Bifida). Frances and John divorced. I don't know if she married again, but she went on to have a couple of daughters in Stuart, Florida. I don't know their names or anything. Alice Sandra (DOB - Circa 1956) - Married Gordon Colburn in Stuart, Florida. (They were married in the office of the Stuart News because he worked there at the time. I believe it was circa 1973 when they married.) They had three daughters. Deborah, Kathy (Possibly Cathy) and Sandra. Not sure on their DOBs, but they were all born in Stuart. Gordon died, I believe in the 1990s, but I'm not sure of the year or cause. Jack Lamarr (DOB - Circa 1958) - Married Tammy (Not sure of her maiden name). Jack was in the Air Force as well, but not sure how long. They had two sons, Jack Jr. and one other, not sure of his name. Jack and Tammy divorced. Am happy to share any needed information and to learn of any new if anyone has any. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
