    1. [FLHILLSB] missing email
    2. Deborah Byrd
    3. <snip> I understand from a conversation I came upon in the irc.rootsweb.com #rootsweb-admins channel that RootsWeb list mail was down for about 12 hours starting about 3:30 AM MST today (the 18th)). The bad news for list managers is that mail apparently was completely lost and will not get to your lists. Tell your subscribers to repost any mail they sent during that time. 1. [FLHILLSB] spam on the list
    2. Deborah Byrd
    3. Let me explain how the list works. Right now it is not moderated. What is posted to the list goes to the list. If spam continues to come to the list, The list will become moderated, which means that everything comes to my email first and I forward it to the list when I can get to it. I would much prefer that we all play nice and act as adults rather than my having to act as referee. Any one who sends spam to the list will be given the opportunity to appologize to the list and then I will remove them from the list. Good manners are always a must. If someone has a question about spam please contact me off list. I do believe that rootsweb has a section on spam on their web page. I am away from my computer so can't do a web search for the url. If anyone has comments please contact me off list. Deborah Byrd list manager

    1. [FLHILLSB] Woodlawn & Colon Cemeteries
    2. Bushy Hartman
    3. Thank you all so very much for all your help that was super. I just found out that the generous person who was going to photograph the headstones for me but the list I found her email on was from 1999 and it had her doing Hillsborough in error. I will take the information that you sent and put it in my file so one day when I do get to Florida I can take photos. I loved the one site with several stones on it they are so interesting. I am gravely addicted to cemetery hopping and especially enjoy the stones with photos on them. We always take a close up of those to help families preserve a photo that they otherwise may never have. I sure appreciated everyones input. Thank you Bushy Hartman mihartman@infoave.net

    3. snip > I too would be much interested in a cemetary/grave listing for HIllsborough. > Snip Here is the bibliography for the Hillsborough county Cemetery books, found in the FHC library catolog. Unfortunately the books are not available for loan, however they might be available through other sources. The FSGS library over in Cocco Beach has them. I have also seen them in the Clayton Library in Houston. Doesn't help much in getting a listing, but at lease we do know that they exist, also you might contact the FGS and see if they could do a look up and the cost of the volumes.
