    2. Thank you, Peggy. The Hillsborough County, Florida cemetery book on Woodlawn cemetery lists Adam D. Johnston as born 2 January 1861 died 4 April 1945. His wife Jeffie Augustus Allen Johnston dropped dead in their store on Twiggs Street, Tampa, Florida in 1917. I believe that he may have married again in the 1930s. The store and home was near the train station and about 1917 - 1920 there was the Albertus Hotel and Cafe nearby. I'm sure that all these structures have been torn down now. Best wishes. Grace

    2. Seeking information about Adam D. Johnston who had a store and home on Twiggs Street in Tampa during the 1900s. Not sure just where he was born but one census states his birthplace as Kansas. His tombstone at Woodlawn cemetery reads born 1861 died 1945.He was married to Jeffie Augusta Allen daughter of Jefferson F. Allen and Frances Augusta Rawls.
