(Hoping anyway.) I have created an account with kodak. Go to the website; http://adobe.kodakgallery.com/Welcome.jsp Click on the sign in tab. The email address to put in the sign in is: [email protected] password: havefun scroll down to the middle of the page, it will be under my friends photos. There will be 3 albums listed. The first is of my grandmother, Mollie Moore. She was born in Tampa 1914, but later lived in Jacksonville, Fl. (about 1925) There may be some unknown people that I need help identifying in that first folder. 2nd folder is my great grandmother, Pearl Agnes Felder & her brother, Perry Acey Felder. Pearl was born in Levy or Hillsborough County Florida. I believe she lived in Hillsborough County from 1895 (when she was born) until about 1925. There are some unknown people in that folder also. Last folder is the mystery photos. I believe that alot of these folks were from Hillsborough County, some may be Duval County. I have some of these photos labeled with what was wrote on the back of them. I have about 74 pictures in that folder. (I have more that I'm going to upload later) If anyone has any problems viewing these pictures, please feel free to email me at: [email protected] The photos will be in a form of a slide show. If you click on the play tab, it will play a show, but it may be a little too fast. I prefer to click on the arrow buttons to view them one at a time. Hoping that this will work.... Joy Wilkerson

I am trying to locate some living relatives, descended of Joseph John Carr, who died in 1972. His daughter Helen Frances Carr married Charles Henning in 1986 in Holiday, Florida. He has a son named Joseph John Carr, born 1954 in the Tampa area. He has a daughter named Rosemary Carr, born 1956 in the Tampa area. I have tried every possible way of finding his children, but have had no luck. Do these names ring any bells? Thanks for any help. best, Paul Carr

I don't know a whole lot about computers, so I need all the help I can get. Someone once made a comment to me that all I know how to do on a computer is look up names (ancestors) and download music. I believe that they may be right. I will see if I can contact some Historical Societies and go from there. I will check out the photo programs, I have one that is picture it on my computer. I will see if they have something on there that I could downsize these photos and get them online. Thanks for all of your help. It is appreciated! Joy Wilkerson

In Adobe PhotoShop it is inder File>Auntomate>Batch. Ulead's Photo Impact, File> Batch Convert. For online viewing 96 dpi is all that is necessary. Size makes a big diffference for those not on high speed as to whether they take the time needed to wait for large downloads on web pages to open. Also, if you are only given a certain amount of bandwidth the larger the file the more it uses when someone views it. Maybe you could contact the historical associations in the area you think the pictures were taken. Ask them to show these pictures at their next meetings. Never know who might recognize someone from their own pictures. Hope this helps.

Could it be because of web traffic??? The first link that I posted earlier is working (at this minute, anyhow) :>( Please keep trying both links. I hoping to find a better way to post these pictures. I have tried ancient faces which is a good site, but it won't take alot of my photos because of the size. It'll take a thousand years to resize these photos and then upload them. I too, have trouble getting access getting back on the web site. I have been trying to get it back online since last night with no luck. It says that I have exceeded my hourly limit. I don't understand that cause I just opened the account up the other day. I have about 2 other separate accounts with geocities that I had with them for at least 3 years, never had any trouble until now. I think I will start over and try again. Again, I apologize and I will let everyone know when I get a new one posted. Thanks for letting me know, Joy
