I did not find him in the Florida death index by that name so he must have died somewhere else. Also not in the Tampa Tribune obituaries Do you have any other info on him? middle name? anything?

There is a section in there that lists all the obits posted in the Tampa papers. There are several Thomas's that look like a close match. There is even a Ella Flossie Thomas listed. Thats close.
