Peggy, I have a Franklin J. Brown who married into my Yates line and he has a brother Daniel M. Brown who married Julia Walden. This Daniel Brown was born 17 May 1839 in Georgia and died 13 January 1903. He and wife Julia both are buried in the Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery near Plant City, Hillsborough County, Florida. Franklin J. Brown and his wife Martha Jane Yates named one of their sons Daniel Brown. Their son was born 11 June 1888 died 7 January 1948 and is buried in the Turkey Creek Cemetery. Maybe these Daniel Browns are the ones you are looking for, anyway, hope that this has been of some help to you. His many professional honors included serving as president of sales and marketing executives of Tampa, receiving that organization's President's Award for Outstanding Achievement, being named "Ad Man of the Year" by the Tampa Advertising Club, and receiving the American Advertising Federation's Silver Medal Award. He was a Kiwanian, and he served as president of the Kiwanis Club of Midtown Tampa and as lieutenant governor of the Florida District of Kiwanis.
